A Day Trip To Hartleys, Crocodile Adventures To Include The Skyrail and Scenic Train, With Port Douglas Pick-Up

This is new and a great idea! Most tours to Kuranda use the Skyrail (cablecar) to go up the mountain, allow time in Kuranda, and then the scenic train down. You’ll have great views of Barron River Falls along the way. This trip also includes Hartley’s, which is on the way south from Port Douglas to the Skyrail pick-up point. You’ll see plenty of crocodiles at this crocodile park.

They will also take you to Palm Cove for a walk on the beach or a sundowner at one of the lovely restaurants there. It’s a long day, at 10.5 hours, but it really packs everything in and gives you an “everything is taken care of” day out. You also get to skip the lines at these popular attractions.

If you’re short of time, this is an excellent way to ensure you see all the sights. Check availability via the widget below.

A Tour To Cape Tribulation, The Daintree, Mossman and Port Douglas from Cairns, Palm Cove or Port Douglas

This is another tour that packs a lot into one day. This tour is even longer, 12 hours if you start and end your day in Cairns! But if you’re only in Cairns for a couple of days, you can pack a lot in. You can also be picked up in Port Douglas or Palm Cove.

This tour includes a wildlife spotting tour on the Daintree River. You stand a good chance of seeing crocodiles. You may also swim at Mossman Gorge, where you won’t see crocodiles, we hope!

This party bus is also available for private charter – think stag or hen parties! Maybe the office Christmas party.

Waterfalls and 4WD Day Out From Cairns

Our region is known for waterfalls and this tour takes you to the biggest and most spectacular, Barron River Falls. If you’re visiting in the upcoming wet season, you’ll see them at their best.

You also have a chance to swim in a rainforest creek, explore the rainforest, including by 4WD, and check out Kuranda. There are some foodie treats along the way too, along with an ancient strangler fig tree.

Pick-up is from various hotels in Cairns, including Mad Monkey Waterfront and Novotel Cairns Oasis.

The MOST Luxury Day on the Reef

I can’t afford this but some of you can! This package is the way to see the reef in style. Everything is “private” including your snorkel tour, and helicopter! This one is from Cairns.

If you’ve dreamed of taking a helicopter ride over the Great Barrier Reef, book this! Your ride takes you to a pontoon where you’ll be given the VIP treatment. This would be a great Christmas treat for somebody special!
